Galvanised iron at 3.5 mm, more than twice the thickness of the glass-lined tanks in Anu's ETC range, with a sacrificial anode rod fitted to fight water hardness up to 600 ppm. The anode rod is the working part of that protection, it corrodes so the tank does not, and it can be replaced during servicing. The outer tank is galvanised and powder coated. Anu backs both the tank and the panels with a 5-year warranty each.

One thing to be straight about: 600 ppm is the limit. If you are on borewell water in Bangalore or Hyderabad running harder than that, and much of it does, this is not your product. Anu's glass-lined ETC 200 LPD is rated to 2000 ppm and will last where this one will not.
